Ironline Tactics
Ironline Tactics asks you to defend positions with limited units, and every turn feels like a small puzzle you can't afford to fumble. It leans into the classic move-and-overwatch style, where positioning matters far more than raw numbers. Lose a veteran unit and you'll feel it for the next three missions.
Playing on a phone is surprisingly comfortable. You can pinch to zoom the map and tap a tile to preview the outcome before committing, which cuts down on the fat-finger mistakes that usually ruin strategy games on touchscreens. There's no time pressure in battle, so it's perfect for slow, thinking sessions.
Battery use is reasonable since the maps are static, and the phone barely warms up. It's a great fit for anyone who likes to pause, plan, and overthink every move.
